Obituary of Dee PEELMAN, Crawford County, Illinois Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 2000 Cindy McCachern Obituary of Dee Peelman Dee L. Peelman, 53, of Indianapolis, formerly of Palestine, was killed in a car collision between Otis and Yuma, Colo, about 10:30 o'clock Sunday morning, according to word received by relatives in Palestine. Five persons were riding in the car at the time of the accient, three of whom are dead and two badly injured.  Besides Mr. Peelman, the dead are, Mrs. Pauline January, 65, of Indianapolis, and William McConnell, 59, of Otis, Colorado.  Mrs. January's daughter, Nell, 30, and son, Walter, 29, were reported badly injured.   Details of the accident were not available at press time but Mr. Peelman and his party were said to have been on a vacation trip to the west.   The body was returned to the Goodwine Funeral Home where private funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.  Burial was made in the Oak Grove cemetery.   Survivors include his wife, Sara, of Palestine and a brother, Glenn, of LaMotte Prairie.  He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel W.
