He had been complaining for a year or more but was not thought to be in a serious condition and has not been confined to his bed more that two or three weeks. Last Monday Dr. T. H. Maxedon of Vincennes was called in consultation with Dr. L.R. Illyes of Heathsville and they at that time said there was absolutely no hope for recovery. Wednesday the funeral was preached at the house by Rev. Beabout and interment was made in Palestine Cemetery. No better citizen could be found anywhere than in the person of Mr. Cravens and will be greatly missed in his community we well as by all who knew him. We have no obituary at hand at this time but he was about 50 years of age and leaves a wife and several children to mourn their loss.
