Her aged mother living in Flat Rock, Ill.; two brothers, namely John O., of Flat Rock, Ill.; Carl C. of Robinson, Ill.; and one sister, Mrs. Louise Hurst, of Hutsonville, Ill., survive her, besides a host of relatives and friends. She accepted the Master when she was just a girl, uniting with the M. E. church at Dollahan Chapel, Lawrence county, Illinois, where she was an active worker in the church for eight years. She with husband and son moved from the Allison homestead east of Birds, Lawrence County, Illinois, to Flat Rock, Ill. in August, 1900. After having moved to Flat Rock she again united with the M. E. church under the postorate of the Rev. George R. Goodman and remained a tireless worker until called to her reward. Her Christian life was exemplified "seven days in the week." Her zeal for the church was manifest to all who knew her. Her religion was a great solace to her, not only in life, but at the "very crossing." ***************************************************************** USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
