I have no further information on this family. Francis Lawhead died at his home near Robinson, February 26, following a short illness with pneumonia. He was born in Green county, Ind., June 9, 1862, being aged 49 years, 8 months and 17 days. At the age of 14 years he came with his parents to Illinois and resided north of Hut- sonville and near West York. He was married to Belle Lawhead and to this union were born eleven children, ten of whom are living, there being eight boys and two girls. He is also survived by his widow and father, who resides at Peach Orchard, Ark., two half-brothers, Jasper Lawhead and Paris Burch, and two half sisters, Mrs. Ed Metcalfe, of Sullivan, and Mrs. Emma Foster, of Charleston. He was a member of the M. P. church at York and was a man liked by every one, being honest, industrious and kind. Funeral services were held at the U. B. church in Robinson, Wednesday, conducted by Rev.
