JOHN DUNCAN OF FLAT ROCK SUCCUMBED TO BRIGHT'S DISEASE

John Duncan of Flat Rock has been very sick for several weeks and his death
has been expected by the family and friends for some time.  He leaves a
wife and several children to mourn his death..  Marshall Ed Duncan of
Palestine is one of his sons. The funeral  services were held Wed.
afternoon at his home east of Flat Rock.  The funeral was preached by Rev.
Tritt of the M.E. Church .  Interment was made at Duncanville the old home
of Mr. Duncan.  He is survived by a wife , 5 sons and 2 daughters.  Wade of
Terre Haute, Charles of Chicago, Burl and Broda of Flat Rock.  The girls
are Mrs. Wiley Rundle of Flat Rock and Mrs. Noba Johnson of Harrisburg.  He
was 62 years old.
