Obituary of Mrs James HULSE, Crawford County, Illinois This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Crawford County Web Site Mrs. James Hulse Dies Mrs. James Hulse died at the family residence in this city at 12: 40 am Wed., a sarcoma on the neck causing her demise. Mrs. Hulse has been afflicted with this growth for 9 months past and it was removed last Sept. after which she showed marked improvement but the growing returned at a later date and its obstruction of the bronchial tubes, lungs and heart was the immediate cause of death. She was a little past 60 years of age and has resided in Palestine for many years, the family coming here originally from the vicinity of Columbus, IN. Mrs. Hulse is survived by her husband, 4 sons , Harry, Hubbard, Fleet of this city, and Frank of Columbus IN, and 3 daughters Mesdames. Dee Farrell, and C. C. McDaniel of this city and Louis French of Riverton. At the hour at which we go to press, the time and place of the funeral has not been decided upon. Feb. 14, 1907 Palestine Reporter Feb. 21,1907 Palestine Reporter - The funeral of Mrs. J. W. Hulse whose death occurred early last Wednesday and whose obituary appeared in the last issue of the Reporter was conducted by Rev. O. L. Markman at the M.E. Church last Friday afternoon. Interment was in the Palestine cemetery.
