Obituary of James Hubert (Jim) YORK, Crawford County, Illinois This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Crawford County Web Site James York James Hubert (Jim) York, 59, Bicknell, Ind., died at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Ind., Saturday at 12:15 p.m. EST. He was born in Crawford County March 10, 1919, son of the late Ira and Lucritta Morgan York. He was married to Ann Ingersol, who survives. Mr. York was a member of the First Baptist Church, Robinson and a World War II U.S. Army Air Force veteran. He is survived by two brothers, Glen York, Vincennes, Ind., and Don York, Whiting, Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. Byrl (Myrtle) Kinney, MT Carmel, Mrs. Earl (Dorothy) Frye and Mrs. Wanda Bradfield, both of Robinson and Mrs. Luther (Mildred) Garrard, Palestine. He was preceded in death by a brother. Memorial services will be conducted at McClure Funeral Home, Bicknell, at 10 a.m. EST Tuesday. Graveside services will be held at the new Robinson Cemetery Tuesday. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial services will be held by Bicknell Moose Lodge at 7:30 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Bicknell VFW Post No. 3190.
