Boyd   15 May 1914, Hutsonville (IL) Herald   Mrs. Mary A. Boyd died Sunday at her home northwest of Hutsonville following a several months illness with cancer.  She was born in Htsonville township April 4, 1837, being aged 77 years, 1 month and 6 days.  She was a daughter of the late Matthew and Anna cox and was the last survivor of a large family of children.  Her parents were among the early pioneers of the county.  In 1858, she was married to John S. Boyd, who died in 1906.  To them were born three sons of whom only one survives, being Ellison H.  The deceased are Edward and Ross.  Mrs. Boyd was a woman who was well liked by all who knew her, and she will be missed by her neighbors and friends.  Funeral services were conducted Monday at the home of Rev. T. C. Bailiff and the body was interred in the Hutsonville cemetery.  A large concourse of relatives and friends were in attendance.   From 13 May 1914, Robinson (IL) Constitution   Mrs. Mary A. Boyd of Hutsonville Dies of Cancer   Mrs. Mary A. (Cox) Boyd, widow of the late John S. Boyd, of Hutsonville township, died Sunday, the tenth instant at her home in that township from cancer of the face, of which she was afflicted for almost a year.   Mrs. Boyd was a daughter of one of the county's early pioneers, Matthew Cox and is the last survivor but one of a large family of children.  She was born April 4, 1837, and was married to John S. Boyd in 1858, who died in 1906.  Three sons were born to them, on of whom, Ellison H., survives.  The other two, Edward and Ross, both preceeded the other in death.   Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the old family home by Rev.
