MOSE MULLINS Mose Mullins known to everybody in this section and all along the line of the Indianapolis Southern railroad , died rather suddenly Saturday of last week. He was taken Friday noon with hemorrhages and died Sat. afternoon at 5 o'clock. He was born in Palestine April 1, 1859 where he lived the greater part of his life. Mose was a familiar character alone the line of the Indianapolis southern. After leaving the road he was on different roads as passenger brakeman until he became partially blind and was compelled to give up railroading altogether, when he returned to Palestine and engaged in cleaning and pressing business. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home of Edmond Mullins, brother of the deceased. Rev. Matthew Small officiating. One daughter, Georgia , one brother, Edmond, two half brothers John and Preston Carver, survive him.
