This obituary was read "on the air" on the local Robinson radio
station (WTAY I think) during a program called "Memorial Time".
I have no connection to the families mentioned in this
obituary.

October 24, 1983

Mrs. Murl Reed, age 86, of Indianapolis, formerly of Oblong,
died Sunday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  She is
survived by a brother, Hubert Leggitt of Indianapolis; a
sister, Dorothy Leggitt of Chicago; a niece, Diane; and a
nephew, Danny.

Funeral services for Mrs. Murl Reed, age 86, of Indianapolis,
formerly of Oblong, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at the
Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong with Rev. John O'Dell
officiating.  Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery.  Friends
may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of
service on Tuesday.
