Here is the obituary: Mabel, beloved wife and companion of Roscoe Wallace was born Feb. 20, 1881. Her maiden name was Boyd, the daughter of R. M. and Nancy Boyd. She was married to Roscoe Wallace Dec. 3, 1902. To this union two daughters, Ester and Mary E., were born. She departed this life Jan. 6, 1910, at the home of her mother in Flat Rock, after a long period of intense suffering from consumption. She was a member of the United Brethern Church at Union. She leaves a husband, two children, a mother, and one sister to mourn her departure. She expressed a willingness to die yet had a desire to live. The funeral was held by Rev. Tritt, pastor of the M.E. Church in Flat Rock.
