NANCY GAINES DIED Mrs. Nancy Gaines, mother of Willoughby, Douglas and Sam Kincaid died at her home in Orchardsville a day or so ago. She is 76 years of age and was a very fine old lady highly respected and loved by all who knew her or of her. The remains were brought to her old home for interment and the funeral will be preached today at Pleasant View by Rev. Manley and interment at the cemetery just across the road from the church this afternoon. June 10,1910 supplement to Wabash Pearl Obituary from June 17, 1910 Wabash Pearl Mrs. Nancy Kincaid who died at Xenia, Ill., 78 years 4 months and 1 day old. She was the mother of 8 children two preceded her to the better world. She leaves one brother, three sons, Willoughby, Douglas, and Sam Kincaid, three daughters, Mrs. White of Pomonia, California, Mrs. Estabroack of Eaton California, and Mrs. Ashbrook of Xenia Ill., and 33 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at Pleasant View church of which she was a member, June 11th, 1910. Interment at Green Hill cemetery. J. L. Manley Pastor. [Editor's Note: the Kincaid History by Wendell Kincaid states that Nancy Ann Wolfe was born Feb. 8, 1834 and died June 9, 1910 in Xenia Ill.
