I have no connection to the families mentioned in this obituary. October 12, 1983 (date of death) Phillip G. Marlin, age 68 of Ashtabula, Ohio, died Wednesday afternoon at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Elsie; by one son, James Terry Marlin of Chattanooga, Tennessee; by one daughter, Vicki O'Neal of Leonardstown, Maryland; and by four grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Harold Marlin of Honolulu, Hawaii and Jack of Eustis, Florida; a sister, Maggie Ruth Reams of Harelock, North Carolina; and locally, by three sisters-in-law, Edna Montgomery of Robinson, Enid Williamson of Hutsonville and Ester Fear of Stoy. Graveside services for Phillip G. Marlin of Ashtabula, Ohio will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday in the Oak Grove Cemetery, north of Palestine, with Robert Claycomb officiating. There will be no visitation.
