Obituary of Sarah Reinoehl, Crawford County, Illinois Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 2000 Cindy McCachern Obituary of Sarah Reinoehl   Sarah Reinoehl, wife of Philip Reinoehl, was born January 16th 1832 in Stark coutny, Ohio, and departed this life May 7th, 1907.  Her being 85 years, 3 months and 21 days.  She was converted and became a Christian years ago while young in life, then complying with God's command in that He said, "Remember now the Creator, in the days of thy youth."  And united with the German Reformed church.   She was united in marriage to Philip Reinoehl, Nov. 30th, 1843.  To this union were born eleven children, five of whom are yet living.  In 1853, she removed with her husband to the state of Illinois, locating near New Hebron, Crawford county, where with her husband, they spend the greater part of their lives, til the year 1882, when they moved to Robinson, Illinois, to which placed they transferred their membership to the United Brethren church.  She remained loyal to her church and Christ.  Though the end came very suddenly and unexpectedly, yet she was not found without, having on the "wedding garment."  Her last words were, "Jesus come and take me home."  Then in the triumphs of a living faith in the Saviour, she passed away."  She died at the home of her son Grant, in Terre Haute, Ind.   She leaves to mourn their loss, children, Wm. E., of Addy, Washington; Franklin Pierce, of Nevada; Reuben, of Che-we-lab, Washington; Philip, of ?, Mo., and Grant, of Terre Haute, Indiana.   She also leaves fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Cass Hasler of Sumner, Ill.   Funeral services were held at the U. B. church in this city, Thursday, 1 p.m., by Rev.
