MRS.THOMAS L. MITCHELL DEATH

Mrs. Elizabeth E. Mitchell, wife of Thomas L. Mitchell, died at her home
here Saturday morning.  The funeral services were held at the family
residence Monday morning at 10 o'clock. conducted by Rev. Miles of the
congregational Church.  Burial was in the city cemetery.

The deceased was born near Chillicothe, Ohio, September 1 1845, but resided
in Marshall nearly all her life.  She was united in marriage to Thos. L.
Mitchell on April 22, 1866.  To this union were born five children all of
whom are living.  They are, Robert J. of McGehee, Ark.,  Mrs. Marion D.
Mills of Palestine, Ill., Mrs. W. R. Lucas of Casey, Ed of Marshall and
Frank L. of Greenup.  Besides husband and children she leaves ten
grandchildren and a great number of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Mitchell was a good woman, and greatly beloved by her acquaintances
for her many Christian virtues
