CURTIS DEAD Word was received here this morning that Rev. W. A. Curtis died at his home in Shawnee , OK., caused by typhoid fever. Remains will pass through Palestine this morning to Sullivan where interment will be made. OBITUARY: March 25, 1910 Rev. W. A. Curtis was born in Sullivan Ind, 39 years ago. After graduating at Union Christian College at Merom Ind., he became pastor of a church at Palestine, Ill. His second pastorate was at Lawton, OK., and from there he was called to the pastorate of the Christian church in this city, where he took up his work January 16th. In the short time that elapsed before he became ill Mr. Curtis had formed a large acquaintanceship and had planned extensively on the work of his church for the year. His loss will be keenly felt by the members of his congregation and by those with whom he had become acquainted . Mr. Curtis's wife and three children survive him.
