He departed this life July 16, 1922 aged 69 years 10 months and 16 days. As a young man, in the year 1969, Mr. Paull entered Hanover College, at that time the most popular Presbyterian college among the students of this region. The success of this college in largely increasing its endowment this last year and in entering on a larger program was the cause of great joy to Mr. Paull. Not only did Mr. Paull have a good education, but he had that which was more precious, a good training in a godly family, for his father was without question the leading layman for many years in the Palestine Presbyterian church. Into this church Mr. Paull was baptized as an infant. In 1879, Mr. Paull was married to Miss Flora E. Vane and to this union were born the following children; James O., Edna V., and Julia A. Paull. In the year 1900, the family moved to Missouri and were there about five years. The rest of Mr. Paull's life has been spent in Palestine. For the last thirteen years he has been in the employ of Mr. David Fife, where he served as a most trusted employee. The sudden death of Mrs. Paull in August 1921 was a great affliction to him. He leaves to mourn his loss the son and daughters mentioned above, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. May Paull, two grand-children. Louise and Ruth Paull, and three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Wilson, Mrs. Fannie B. Patton, and Mrs Anna P Nichols. Mr. Paull was kind and loving in his family life, home was a great thing to him. He was a citizen who stood for good things. In his circle of friendship he was ever ready to oblige. ***************************************************************** USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
