This photo in printed in and scanned from an Oration and Obituary booklet from 
December 1917 published in Palestine, Ill where N. Steele practiced medicine 
from 1859 to about 1907. He is burried in the Palestine Cemetery along with 
his wife Hannah Kithell Steele, Henry O Smith, "Aunt June" Smith, Alan Steele 
and others.
One daughter "Mollie" Steele Voliva, is burried in Zion, Ill. She is my 
maternal grandmother, through Ruth Voliva Bennett. The obituary was by 
reverand Phillips of the Presbeterain church of Palestine in 1917. "He 
responded to every call, no matter what the conditions were, from rich or 
poor." I will try to post the obit. soon...God bless the oldtimers. I love 
this site!!!
