L. O’Roke Rockford friends have been apprised of the death of Mrs. C. L. [Anna] O’Roke which occurred last Thursday at Fairdale, Ill. Her passing was due to pneumonia, but she had been in failing health for the last five years. She was born in Mineral Point, Wis., Nov. 2, 1861. She is survived by her husband and six children, Harry L., who has been in service in France for the past year; Arthur B., who is in the Navy, stationed at Pensacola, Fla., C. Hebert, who resides at 714 Park Ave., Bess, Helen and Maurice, of Fairdale, Ill. Her sisters are Miss Margaret Burns, of 512 North Main Street; Mrs. John Johnson, of Rockford; Mrs. Kate Greenwood of Mineral Point, Wis., and Mrs. James Smith, of Aberdeen, S.D. Funeral services was held at Murphy & Fitzgerald’s undertaking rooms and the interment was in the Catholic cemetery.
