Proof of Heirship State of Illinois DeWitt County IN THE COUNTY COURT OF Said County: In Probate January Term, A.D. 1917 In the Matter of the Heirship of MARTHA EDWARDS, Deceased Personally appeared before me, CHARLES F. KEMP., County Clerk of DeWitt County, PALLIE ARTHUR who, being duly sworn according to law, deposes and says that she is a daughter of the said MARTHA EDWARDS, deceased, and that said MARTHA EDWARDS, late of Lanes in said County departed this life intestate at Lanes on the 3d day of February AD 1915, leaving her surviving 1. HARRISON EDWARDS, residing at _________, her husband, who died a week later than she did., 2. PALLIE ARTHUR, residing at Lanes, Illinois, her daughter 3. MELLIE WALDEN, residing at Clinton, Illinois, her daughter 4. DORA COX, residing at Clinton, Illinois, her daughter and that said MARTHA EDWARDS, left her surviving no other child or children nor descendants of any deceased child or children.
