Obituary of Edith Hardwick, Douglas County, IL Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 1999 Terry Parker FROM THE TUSCOLA REVIEW---SEPTEMBER 30, 1976 Graveside services for Edith Hardwick of Lawrenceville were held at Tuscola Cemetary at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 1976. Mrs. Hardwick died at the Lawrence County Hospital at 7 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24. Born in Murdock Oct. 23, 1892 she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Derby. She married Orval W. Hardwick, he died in 1949. Surviving are six daughters, Rossella Gosnell and Kathryn Gravitt of Lawrenceville, Lois Wagner of Newman, Ruth Parker of Lake Wales, Florida, Frances Winter of Indianapolis, Indiana, Martha Crain of Brownsville, Texas, two sons, Bill Hardwick of Iran and Ralph Hardwick of LaPuenta, California. One son, Wayne, preceded her in death.
