FROM THE PARIS BEACON-NEWS (date uncertain)

	Ruth Pauline Parker, 75, of Paris died at 3:30 P.M. 
Saturday, Feb. 8, 1986 at Paris Community Hospital.  Funeral 
Services will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Keith Funeral Home in 
Villa Grove.  The Rev. Richard Swain will officiate.  Burial will 
follow in Villa Grove Cemetary.  There is no visitation planned.
	Mrs. Parker was born Jan. 2, 1911 in Murdock, the daughter
of Orval & Edith Derby Hardwick.  She married John Franklin Parker 
Nov. 24, 1926 in Danville.  He survives with a son, Terry K. Parker 
of Bartow, FL; a daughter, Ruth Ann Wieland of Chrisman, six grand-
children, three great-grandchildren, a brother, Orval Hardwick Jr. 
of Colorado, and four sisters, Frances Winters of Indianapolis; 
Lois Wagner of Indianapolis; Kathryn Gravett of Sullivan, In. and 
Martha Crane of Liberty, Tx.  She was preceded in death by her 
parents, two brothers, a sister and one son.
