G. W. HALBERT, farmer; P. O. Paris; is a native of Clay Co., Ind.;
he was born March 13, 1841; he grew to manhood and received his education at
his native place; he has thus far in life made farming a business; in 1876,
he settled on the farm where he now lives; his farm consisting of fifty-two
acres, which is nicely cultivated and improved, making as pleasant a little
home as may be found in the county. On May 25, 1865, he married Miss Laura,
daughter of V. Stewart, who was an old and well-respected citizen of Paris.
They are people in good standing in the community and have the esteem and
confidence of many friends.
