J. B. WOOD, farmer and stock-raiser; P. O. Hume; was born in
Kentucky May 21, 1837; came to this State and settled in Edgar Co. in 1863;
his farm consists of 320 acres, valued at $10,000. Since Mr. Wood's
residence in the township, he has held office of Supervisor five years and
Township Treasurer twelve years.
