War Of 1812 Record
Samuel Marrs, while living in Indiana, served in the War of 1812 as an Ensign under
Captain William Hoggett's Company; Indiana Infantry Militia. He was born in Taswell,
VA and was married to Jane Reed 30 SEP 1811 in Clark County, IN. He came to Edgar
County,
ILL.after the birth of his last child born in Indiana (1827). I am searching for his
grave site. Can anyone help me?
