Flenner   Thursday, 14 December 1922, Kansas (IL) Journal Sunday Morning at Home Near Kansas--Funeral Held Tuesday   Albert Waldo Flenner, son of Rachel Anne (Hughes) and Isaac Flenner, was born in Butler county, Ohio, March 17, 1849 and died at his home west of Kansas, December 10.   After the death of his mother which occurred in his early childhood, his father came to this vicinity, and was later married to Miss Hopa Ann Hollingsworth of Ashmore, who took the little boy to her heart as if he was her own.   He has been a lifelong member of the Methodist Episcopal church, and for many years an official member, as was his father before him.  He had been in poor health for about fifteen months, had been confined to his home for several days, but was not considered dangerously ill.  His death came very suddenly Sunday morning.   The funeral services were held in the Methodist church, Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. T. S. Mitchell, assisted by Rev. F. M. Ault.  Music was furnished by Mrs. C. A. Pike and Mrs. Fenton Foveless with Mrs. John Hicks accompanying. The interment was made in the Ashmore cemetery, in the Flenner lot. He is survived by the widow, two children, Mrs. Anna J. Millman and Isaac F. Flenner of Terre Haute and one brother, Martin Flenner living in this vicinity.  A large number of distant relatives live in the surrounding counties. Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were Mrs. Emily Moore and daughter of Oakland, Mrs. Ella Mullens and daughter of Westfield and James H.
