George Martin Jordan
After an illness of nearly a year, of a complication of dropsy and heart 
disease, George M. Jordan died at the home of his sister, Mrs.Wm. C. White, 39 
South Sixteenth Street yesterday. He came here from Nevada, Mo. a month ago to 
be near his relatives at the end. He leaves a widow, two sons, Bert and Elmer 
of Missouri, a daughter, Mrs. Mable Campbell of Amarillo,Tex. and Mary, a 
young daughter attending school in Terre Haute. The funeral will be held at 
the home of his mother, Martha Jordan, at Vermilion,Ill., at 2 o'clock today. 
He was the third of a large family of children, all of whom survive him. They 
are, Mrs.Catherine Brown, Amo,Ind., John D. Jordan, Terre Haute, 
Mrs.J.B.Shicke, Sandford, Mrs. Morris Bradford, Hindsboro,Ill., 
Mrs.W.C.White,Terre Haute and the Misses Lydia and Luella Jordan,Vermillion.
