Obituary of Ellen McClain

5 June 1919, Kansas (IL) Journal

Mrs. Ellen McClain died Sunday night at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Perry Martin, at Redmon.  Mrs. McClain had been suffering
several weeks from a broken leg and was taken to her daughter's
home for care about two weeks ago.

Her husband, John D. McClain died In June, 1900.  Five children
survive:  Martha Wilhoit and ____________ _____ Martin of ______.

The funeral was held at the Christian church Wednesday morning
conducted by Rev. W. H. Fonger.

Burial was made at Pleasant Hill cemetery.
