Obituary of Anna Kibler Cornwell Poulter, Edgar County, Illinois Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 2000 Cindy McCachern Thursday, January 1911, The Kansas (IL) Journal Obituary of Anna Kibler Cornwell Poulter Mrs. Thomas Poulter, age 62 years, died at 12 o'clock Friday at the family residence where after a short illness of two weeks with congestion of the stomach.   The deceased was born in Kansas township August 6, 1849, and was formerly Miss Anna Kibler.  She was married to John W. Cornwell, July 16, 1866, who died on the 23rd day of June 1889.  On July 3, 1894, the deceased was married to her surviving husband.  To the first union were born the following surviving children:  Mrs. Fred Hawkins and Mr. J. B. Cornwell, Kansas; Mrs. Galileo Morris and LeRoy Cornwell of Paris.  One sister, Mrs. C. C. Boyer of Brocton, also survives. Mrs. Poulter was a woman greatly beloved by her family and friends, possessing those estimable qualities by which she was enabled to illustrate in her life the best traits of the devoted wife and mother, the kind and generous friend and the hospitable neighbor.  She was a member of the Christian chruch of Pleasant Hill, from which the funeral took place at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon, Rev.
