Obituary of Sarah Wilhoit Poulter, Edgar County, Illinois Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 2000 Cindy McCachern Obituary of Sarah Wilhoit Poulter Thursday, January 20, 1921, Kansas (IL) Journal Mrs. Frank Poulter passed away Sunday at the family home, after an illness of several weeks. The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the late residence conducted by the Rev. W. H. Fonger, pastor of the Christian church. Interment was made at Pleasant Hill cemetery. Sarah Wilhoit Poulter was born in Kentucky March 1, 1852. She was united in marriage to J. F. Poulter, March 21, 1878. Besides the husband, two sons survive, H. E. Poulter of Wichita Falls, Texas, and J. M. Poulter of Walnut Ridge, Ark. The decedent united with the Christian church more than 35 years ago.
