K. Woodruff passed away at 7 o'clock Monday evening at the family home.  She had been ill for several years and the end was not unexpected, as she had been rapidly losing strength for the past few weeks.   Adona Kirkham was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Kirkham and was born in Aurora, Neb., Feb. 2, 1876. She spent almost her entire life in this county, coming to Kansas about the age of seven years.  The deceased was married to Dolph K. Woodruff Dec. 29, 1897, at seven o'clock p.m., the same day of the month and same ____ that she passed away.   Mrs. Woodruff united with the Christian church in girlhood and has lived an earnest Christian life.  She enjoyed the true friendship of many friends and apparently, "Dona," as she was familiarly known, was loved by everyone.  Although she had been a great sufferer for some time, she was always brave and very patient.   Besides the surviving husband, she leaves two brothers, William Kirkham of Wyoming and Grant Kirkham of this city.   The funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the residence, conducted by the REv. W. H. Fonger, assisted by the Rev. A. C. Adams and the REv. Geo. A. Pflug.   Interment was made at Fairview cemetery. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- USGENWEB NOTICE: These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organizations or persons.
