Wilhoit 25 December 1956, Bloomington (IL) Pantagraph Galeo E. Wilhoit, 91 of 803 W. MacArthur Avenue, died at his home at 8:45 a.m. Monday. He had a heart ailment. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Beck Memorial Home, the Rev. F. Roy Dolan, pastor of the Park Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery. Mr. Wilhoit was the last of a family of seven--one brother and six sisters. He was born in Edgar County Nov. 18, 1865, the son of Irvin and Sarah Pinnell Wilhoit. He married Eliza Spittler Sept. 14, 1892 in Kansas. Before his retirement, he was employed at Livingston's. The Wilhoits observed their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 14, 1952. Surviving are two sons, Stanley, 604 E. Taylor St., and Galand E., New Orleans, La; three daughters, Mrs. Ella Cannon, 615 E. Mulberry St., Mrs. Helen Berry, 803 E. MacArthur Ave., and Mrs. Louise Gehweiler, Miami, Fla; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death.
