McDowell Homecoming, Edwards County, Illinois

MCDOWELL HOMECOMING

The McDowell homecoming was held Sunday, August 10th at the fair 
ground in Albion.  It will be held next year at the same time 
and place.  Everyone enjoyed a bountiful dinner at the noon hour.
Those present were:  Mrs. N. M. Bushong of Golden Gate; Clayton 
Bushong and son, Clayton, Jr., of Cisne; Mr. and Mrs. Frances 
Cloninger, of Mineral Point, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. E. L. McDowell, 
of Golden Gate; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Reid McDowell and children 
Edward Ellis, Mary Lou, Norman Rusell and Max Darrell of Bone Gap; 
Mrs. Rose Wolfe, of Mt. Erie; Mr. and Mrs. Lot Wolfe and children 
William, Bernard and Betty, of Mt. Erie; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Wolfe
and daughter Marilyn and Nadine, of Mt. Erie; Arch Wolfe, of 
Albion; Mrs. Mary Miller, of Armstrong; Mrs. Goldie Wilson, of 
Armstrong, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Meitzler and children, Ruth and 
Dale of Armstrong; Mr. and Mrs. Ad Sander and grandson Steven Lee 
Cropper, of Fairfield; Mr. and Mrs. R. S. McDowell, of Mt. Erie; 
Mr. and Mrs. John Gardner and children, Dwight and Norma Jean, 
of Golden Gate; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest McDowell and sons, Bobby 
and Tommy, of St. Louis; Charles Kanady and Miss Naomi McDowell, 
of Fairfield; Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Johnson and children, Joy Del 
and Joe, of Ellery; Mrs. Rena McDowell, of West Salem; Mr. and 
Mrs. Walter Gaede and daughter Marguerite, of West Salem; Mr. 
and Mrs. Asa Thread and granddaughter, Colleen Kieser, of Bone 
Gap; Mrs. Mary McDowell and daughter, Miss Edith McDowell, of 
Noble, and son Irving McDowell, Mrs. Helen Hornback and daughter,
