Died-In his fortieth year-on Sunday last, of pneumonia, Ferdinand Heimeirer, at his residence in Bishop township, where he had been engaged for the past eight years in teaching the Catholic parish school of that congregation. Deceased had received a liberal education in Germany, and in the capacity of teach during his eight years' arduous labor on Bishop, has proved a most zealous and conscientious instructor of the youth entrusted to his care; and his untimely demise is deplored by the Bishop community as a loss next to irreplaceable. The deceased was also widely known throughout the county, especially in Teutopolis and Effingham, and was universally esteemed as a most agreeable, sociable, useful and intelligent citizen. As his life had been spent in good and meritorious work, and in strict accordance with the precepts of Christianity, so was his death that of a trust Christian. He leaves a sorrowful, feeble wife, and three children to mourn his premature death. The Effingham Democrat, Thursday, August 15, 1872 Obituary.
