This company was organized June 7, 1832, and received marching orders on the same day, and marched on the 9th and arrived at Fort Wilbourn on the 16th of June, and mustered into service June 19. This company found their own rations in full from the 8th to the 17th of June. Since the 17th of June till the present, August 15th, the company has found nearly all the small rations for itself. This company was organized under the command of Captain William L. D. Ewing, at its first organization.
