Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Gibson City with the Reverend William Smith officiating. Burial will be in Drummer Twp Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Jeffrey Hansen was born 6-8-1982 at Gibson City as son of Donald D. and Janey Benjamin Hansen. Survivors include his parents, Donald and Janey Hansen of Gibson City; one sister, Kimberly S. Hansen, at home; his paternal grandmother, Ida Hansen of Gibson City; his maternal grandparents, Bob and Barbara Benjamin of Arrowsmith and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather. A resident of Gibson City for all of his life, Jeffrey was an eighth grade student at Gibson City - Melvin - Sibley Middle School and was a member of the GCMS Falcon Wrestling Club. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Gibson City. Jeffrey enjoyed all sports and farming and collected model farm equipment and trucks. Memorials can be made to the Gibson Community Hospital or to a charity of the donor's choice.
