LARS J. HANSON
Elliott - Lars J. Hanson, 81, died at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday after an illness of a 
few days. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. (daylight) Friday at the 
Lamb Funeral Home in Gibson City. The Rev. Gale Barkalow will officiate. 
Burial will be in Gibson City Cemetery. Mr. Hanson, son of Abel and Anna 
Hanson, was born 8-17-1870 a few miles south of Elliott. He married Rosa 
Blackmore 12-1-1897. Surviving are the wife; one daughter, Lillian at home; 
two brothers, Abel of Chicago and James A. of Hartland, MN. He was preceded in 
death by two brothers and one sister.
