(WICHMANN) HENSEN The funeral of Louise K. Hensen, 101, of Gibson City, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the American Lutheran Church, Gibson City. The Rev. Dane Meuschke will officiate. Burial will be in Drummer Twp Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. today at the Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City and from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Mrs. Hensen, who has 128 living descendants, died at 8:05 p.m. Sunday 12-6-1987 at Gibson Manor, Gibson City. She was born 6-28-1886 in Delmenhorsts, Germany, a daughter of August and Louise Dauel Wichmann. She came to the United States in 1892 and married Otto D. Hensen on 2-10-1904 near Anchor. He died 10-8-1958. Survivors include three daughters, Edith Mounts and Hilda Mott, both of Gibson City; and Esther Pritts, Manhatten, Il.; 22 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and 45 great- great-grandchildren. Three sons, one daughter, four brothers, two sisters and three grandchildren preceded her in death. Mrs. Hensen was a member of the American Lutheran Church and the American Lutheran Church Women.
