Obit of Cora Baiar Dated in ink as Dec 13, 1960. Newspaper unknown Mrs. Cora Baiar Died Monday at Johnston City. Mrs. Cora Baiar, 81, 810 Washington Avenue, Johnston City, died Monday at 8:35 pm, at her home. She had been ill six years. A native of Jackson county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Henson, she was a charter member of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Johnston City, a member and past matron of the Order of Eastern Star, a past president and honorary member of the Johnston City Woman's club and past president of the Williamson County Federation of Women's clubs. She was at one time an active member of the Egyptian Choral Club. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lowell Kelly, Sr. Johnston City; grandson, Lowell A Kelly, Jr., St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. R.G. Crissenberry, Murphysboro and Mrs. James J. Jones, Johnston City, three granddaughters. Her husband Ora, died in 1955. The body will lie in state after 6 pm today at the Murman-Wilson funeral home in Johnston City. Rev. Harold Smith, pastor of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church will conduct the funeral services Thursday at 2 pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery at Marion.
