Obit of Dated in ink as Sept 25, 1947. Newspaper is unknown but probably Johnston City Progress or Marion newspaper. Aged Johnston City Woman Succumbs in St. Louis Yesterday Mrs. Virginia Adeline Barham, 71, of Johnston City, widow of the late W.W. Barham, died at 2 pm yesterday afternoon in St. Louis where she had been making her home since she became ill one and a half years ago, with her daughter Mrs. Pauline Wente. Mrs. Barham was the mother of Leroy Barham, Harrisburg automobile dealer, and Stanley Barham of Johnston City. In addition to her two sons and daughter, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Anna Bivins and a brother Wesley Williams, both of Prescott Arizona. The body is lying in state at the Hathaway funeral home in Johnston City. Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church in Johnston City in the charge of Rev. Homer Young, pastor. Burial will be in the Barham family cemetery at Marion.
