Obit of Nannie Crick Dated in by hand in ink as Feb 8, 1959. Newspaper unknown but seems to be West Frankfort. Nannie Crick, 71, Of Johnston City, Dies; Ill 2 Years Mrs. Nannie Crick, 1003 Market Street, Johnston City died at 5:30 pm Sunday at the home of a daughter Mrs. Everett Beaver, 1109 Market Street, Johnston City. Mrs. Crick, 71, in ill health two years, had been at the home of her daughter this winter. Born in White Plains, Ky., she had lived in Johnston City 40 years. Her husband, James Crick, died two years ago. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by two sons, Walter Crick, Johnston City, and R.B. Crick, South America; 10 grandchildren, four great- grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Jessie Miller, White Plains, Ky., a brother Jerry Farmer, Hopkinsville, Ky. Mrs. Crick was a member of the Rebekah lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary at Johnston City. The body is lying in state at the Murman-Wilson funeral home in Johnston City. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Barnett L. Williams, pastor of the First Baptist church in Johnston City, officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview cemetery, east of Johnston City.
