Fred G. Dollinger

Funeral services were held on July 17 for Fred G. Dollinger, 77, of Cameron, Ill.

He was born July 31, 1873, in Upper Strasburg.  While living in this area he was a stage driver and an employee of the American Telephone Company.

In 1903 he removed to Illinois where he farmed, and since 1931 had operated, an oil station and general store in Cameron.

His first wife, the late Sophia Mackey died in 1927.  He was remarried again in 1931 to Stella Hockensmith of Galesburg.

Surviving are his wife, one daughter, three sons, two brothers, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, all of Illinois, and a number of nieces and nephews in the Chambersburg area.
