Obit of D.B. Galloway Dated in ink as Aug 24, 1949. Newspaper unknown D.B. Galloway Passed Away Pittsburg Resident Died Wednesday at Age of 71. David Birch Galloway, 71, of Pittsburg, died in the Herrin hospital Wednesday at 5:30 am. He is survived by his wife, the former Judith Lawler. The following sons and daughters survive, David Edward, Clara, Miles, Paul and Lawrence at home and Walter Galloway of Crab Orchard. He was a retired coal miner and was a veteran of the Spanish American War. He was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic church of Johnston City. He had lived in Pittsburg for the last 25 years. Funeral services will be held this morning at 9 am at the St. Paul's church with Rev. Fr. Joseph Lupo in charge.
