Obit of Lowell Kelly Dated in by hand in ink as May 11, 1960. Newspaper unknown. Lowell Kelly, 61, Of Johnston City, Died Wednesday. Lowell A. Kelly, 61, died Wednesday at 11:30 am at his home, 910 Washington Avenue in Johnston City. He had been ill the past year. Kelly , born in Coal City, worked as a storekeeper in charge of surplus food at the Williamson county relief department's commodity depot. Besides his wife, Elosie Baiar Kelly, he is survived by son, Lowell A. Kelly, Jr., St. Louis; daughter, Mrs. H.F. Webber, Joliet; sister Mrs. Laura Bell, Johnston City; brother J.D. Kelly, Baltimore, Md, and five grandchildren. The body will lie in state at the Murman-Wilson funeral home in Johnston City after 2 pm today. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home at 2 pm Saturday by Rev. Harold L. Smith, pastor of the Washington Avenue Church. Interment will be in the new Rosehill cemetery.
