Obit of Ada Lawrence Dated in by hand in ink as Sept 2, 1945. Newspaper unknown but probably West Frankfort Funeral rites were observed at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the First Methodist church for Ada Lawrence, 74, widow of John Lawrence, who died at 5:15 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lee Steward, 810 South McClelland street, where she had resided for the past five years. Rev. F.F. Otto officated. Interment was in the Boner cemetery. Mrs. Lawrence had spent most of her life in this city. She was a member of the First Methodist church. Besides Mrs. Steward, she is survived by four other daughters, Mrs. Charles Odel of this city; Mrs. Frank Bozarth, Mrs. Henry Watkins and Mrs. Wm. Harnett of Chicago; three sons, Hosea and Ralph of this city, and Ben Lawrence of Chicago, and a sister, Mrs. Lula Kirby of this city.
