Obit of Genevieve Murman Dated in by hand in ink as May 9, 1962. Newspaper: Daily American, West Frankfort IL Mrs. Genevieve Murman, 80, resident of Johnston city for 50 years, died at 10 pm Tuesday at the Ridley Nursing home in Herrin, where she had been a patient for several years. Mrs. Murman, a member of St. Paul's Catholic church and St. Ann's Alter Society, was born in St. Louis in 1881. Her husband, Henry L. Murman, died in 1935. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John Overaker, Springfield; one son Ronald F. Murman, funeral director at Johnston City; one granddaughter Rhonda Ann Murman, Johnston City, and one brother, James Francis, Milwaukee, Wis. Funeral services will be held at 9 am Friday at St. Paul's Catholic church at Johnston City, with Rev. Albert Buratto officiating. The body will lie in state at the Murman-Wilson funeral home after 6 pm today. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the new Rose Hill cemetery.
