Obit of Walter Earl McCluskey Dated in ink June 22, 1958 (?). Newspaper unknown Carterville Man Dies; Funeral Tuesday Walter Earl McCluskey, 76, 207 Carter Street, Carterville, died at 6 pm Sunday in Herrin Hospital. He had been ill 14 years. He was born Feb 14, 1882, in Crab Orchard. He was a retired coal miner and a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. He was married to Mamie Gentry of Carterville Jan 21, 1911. He leaves his wife; sons Ralph of Madisonville, KY. Raymond of Carterville; Loren of Cambria; sisters Mrs. Anna Ross and Mrs. Bertha Corzine of Carterville; brothers John and Ray of Carterville, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2:30 pm on Tuesday in the Grand Avenue Baptist Church, The Rev. William White, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Riggins Funeral home after 7 pm today.
