Obit of Henry Newton Dated in ink as Nov 26, 1956. Newspaper unknown but probably Marion Henry Newton, 62, of Johnston City Died Early Today Henry Newton, 62, native of Williamson County was found dead in bed early today at his home, 509 West Tenth Street, Johnston City. He had been ill for several months. Newton had lived all his life in the Johnston City community. Surviving are five sisters. Mrs. Ora Wilburn, Mrs. Leona White, Mrs. Lula Jacobs and Mrs. Elsie Holloway of Johnston City, and Mrs. Gertie Miller of Evansville Ind.; Three brothers Loren and Lebnon Newton of Johnston City and J.O. Newton of DuQuoin. The body will line in state after 5 pm Tuesday at the Murman-Wilson funeral home in Johnston City, where funeral rites will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday. Rev. R.R. Warner, pastor of the First Methodist Church at Johnston City, will officiate. Burial will be in new Rose Hill Cemetery at Marion.
