Obit of Stanley Spiller Dated in ink as June 26, 1963. Left upper corner reads "Carbondale-Herrin-Murphysboro" but no name of newspaper. Stanley Spiller Rites in Marion Funeral services for Stanley Spiller, 67, of 864 Morgan Drive, Marion, will be held at 3:30 m today at the Mitchell Funeral Home of Marion. Burial will be in Barham Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral home. Mr. Spiller, a retired mechanic, died at 7:30 pm Friday at his home. He was born in Herrin July 19, 1895 a son of Samuel and Joella Lowell Spiller. He was married to Lora Childress. He leaves his wife, children Jack of Marion, and Mrs. Marvil Wollard of New Orleans, LA and four grandchildren. Mr. Spiller was a veteran of World War 1 and a member of the Herrin Baptist Church and Marion Veterans of Foreign Wars post. (**NOTE** Wife is the former Joellen Spiller, daughter of John H. Sowell and Frances Marion Barham)
