Obit of Cora Willard Dated in by hand in ink as June 27, 1947. Newspaper unknown. Johnston City Woman Dies at Herrin Hospital Mrs. Cora Willard, 81, of Johnston City died 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon in the Herrin hospital. She had been ill about a week, suffering from a heart attack. Mrs. Willard had been a resident of Johnston City for forty-nine years. She was a member of the First Methodist church, Eastern Star and Rebekah lodge in that city. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Addie Brett, of Decatur and Mrs. Martin Moore of Webster City , Ia. The body is lying in state at her home, 201 East Fifth street, in Johnston City. Funeral rites will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the Methodist Church in Johnston City with Rev. Homer Young, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Boner cemetery, south of this city.
